Disaster Resiliency

Natural disasters will always happen, but they don’t have to be as devastating

Because we know disasters happen, we can prepare in advance for them and, in their aftermath, build back better.

We create resiliency when we design and implement sustainable initiatives that enable impacted or disaster-prone communities to effectively transition into recovery and beyond.

Whether these solutions involve clean water training, emergency response prepositioning, strengthening existing systems, or building back better, WHI is working to build disaster resiliency around the world. We partner with other disaster response organizations as well as the corporate sector to provide long-term, sustainable solutions that work before, during, and after disasters.

World Hope is also part of the Clinton Global Initiative Action Network on Post-Disaster Recovery and is committed to preparing to support freshwater production in disasters.
