The Alpha project is a nutrition and education program targeting children under 5 years old in northern Sierra Leone. Children suffering from moderate to severe malnutrition are referred to our program by the Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital. Your gift will provide one month of emergency nutrition for a child in need. It also provides a training session for the child's caregiver in preparing balanced and nutritious meals with locally produced food.

Funds given towards a project are used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for that project has been met, or cannot be completed for reasons determined by the Board, the remaining funds designated will be used where needed most.
